Together we will create a traditional 3-course “Tafelspitz” dinner (boiled beef filet) and, while the soup is on the stove, we will devote ourselves to wine tasting. We will sip our way from Austria’s renowned Grüner Veltliner-“Basic” all the way to the exquisite “Smaragd” quality level.
And then we will sit together to enjoy our home-cooked meal accompanied by the perfect wine.

I am Barbara and I am looking forward to helping you delve a little deeper into Austrian cuisine.
After a number of years hosting guests in the sky, I decided to turn my talents to teaching young people the art of cooking and corporate hospitality. As a professional sommeliere and home economics teacher, I can look back on decades of well-trained, successful students. So now I would like to welcome you, too, to the renowned world of Austrian culinary arts.
But it is not only the Austrian food that is worth getting to know, our wines are world-famous as well, making your “Food and Wine Pairings” class a memorable experience indeed.
